The Direct Strategies team understands campaigns and knows how to implement voter contact programs. Founded in 1998, the Direct Strategies team of professionals has over sixty years of combined campaign management and consulting political experience. Direct Strategies was formed to offer direct services and strategic partnerships for Republican candidates, campaigns, organizations and state parties. Key personnel are Van Poole, Will McKinley and Jamie Wilson.


Together, the Direct Strategies team brings experience and proven results to each voter contact program.

Van B. Poole is a former member of the Florida House and Senate. Van served as a member of the Florida Cabinet in two positions for former Governor Bob Martinez. He also served as the Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida during the time of the emerging GOP majority in Florida.

Will McKinley formerly served as the Executive Director of the Republican Party of Florida. Will served in two important Cabinet positions during the Republican administration of Governor Martinez and is well know in Republican circles for his keen political insight and campaign knowledge and know how.

Jamie Wilson served as in senior campaign and official staff positions for Senator Connie Mack during his two terms in the United States Senate. Jamie was recruited by the Jeb Bush campaign to serve as Executive Director of the Republican Party of Florida during the 2000 election cycle. He continued in that capacity through the difficult, yet successful Florida recount in 2000 and through the Inauguration of President George W. Bush in January of 2001.
